The Canon Gold Cup is known for its
elegance and style . . . not too much flesh and much more about sophistication.
That doesn’t mean however that you can’t have fun with the fantasy of this
year’s theme – “Sunrise, Sunset”.
The theme is broad and enables the incorporation of international fashion
predictions and the exploration of the huge range of colours, contrasts, shapes
and effects that can be drawn from sunrises and sunsets.
So . . . . how do you think local fashion designers will interpret this theme?
Watch as our ten Invited Designers show whether they’re the wake up early,
sunrise type or do they sip champagne as the sun sets.

Person Competition was won by local designer Ludwig bezuidenhout.

Bezuidenhout walked away with R3000 from Gold Circle, a Canon Powershot SX210
IS Digital Camera and a Huawei IDEOS Handset. Second prize went to Brenda Quin – R2000 and Third
prize went to Brenda Waring claiming R1000 both with a Canon Powershot A1200 Digital Camera.
